She has sold over 75 million records worldwide. VH1 ranked her the three greatest women in music in 2012. Her net worth alone is about $450 million. Though these are all important facts, nothing is more important than Beyonce being the most influential artist of the 21st century. Yes, there are a lot of artist that have touched plenty of people’s lives but not like she has, especially with her wide fan base. It is very hard finding a good artist that speaks to your every emotion and as a person is not a bad role model. Women in the music industry tend to try to please the media and stay relevant by changing who they are, sometimes ruining why their fans enjoyed their work. Many people use music for their own personal therapy. There are so many different genres of music and millions of different songs to fit every mood anyone could possibly feel. There are not many artist that you actually feel that exact emotion that they are feeling. Music is so powerful that even if you are in a certain mood it can change that as soon as you hear a song. It is also to build confidence in women to be more than what they thought was possible. When people think of making history and being an unstoppable person they mostly think of men.
